This club was established in 1901 with a course designed by the notable architect Alex Findlay. Unfortunately in 1952, the U.S. Government seized the land through eminent domain to build Pease Air Force Base; that property is now Pease Golf Course.

The current coastal-style course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., opened in July of 1957, and has considerably prettier scenery.

The peak-season non-member walking rate is $85; carts are $20/person. Sliding shoulder-season, 9-hole, and guest-of-member rates are also available. Group golf events are also welcome with prior arrangement.
