Slaley Hall Golf Club
Coal Rd
Hexham, J6 NE47 0BX, United Kingdom

+44.143.467.3350
The Hunting Course demands long & straight tee shots, careful approach shot selection and a steady hand on the putting surface. It is not surprising that this course is a previous European Tour venue!

The Priestman stretches away from the resort itself, offering golfers panoramic views of the Northumberland countryside. With this course being much more exposed to the elements, different aspects of your golf game will come under scrutiny. This golf course is not for the faint-hearted!

As well as stunning courses for all playing levels, Slaley Hall has all the facilities you could ever need for the best golfing experience possible.

Hunting Golf course was in very good condition with our round spoiled only by the 4 neanderthals who refused to let me and my wife through in spite of it being obvious that not one of them was as good as her! Why does this ignorant macho thing still survive in golf? Hotel is not up to standard so stay elsewhere - it is also cheaper to play if you have an Open Fairways membership than by using the Hotel's own special golf rate!

Only got to play 9 holes as play was delayed for 4 hrs due to torrential rain. When we did get going the course was in great condition and managed to shed the water easily. Pitty about the weather, but I would go back to play the Hunting course in a minute.

The courses are excellent, super condition, not that much of a challenge. Unfortunately the Hotel is a dump - certainly on 2-star rating and not the supposed 4-star they boast! Go for the golf but there are far better hotels nearby.
