This very attractive parkland-style course runs over 100 acres of hills and swales in the Derwent Valley, near the border of County Durham and Northumberland. One oddity is the presence of consecutive par-3s at 5 and 6.
Visitors are welcome on weekdays at £20. Weekend play at £25 is also available on certain weekends, but advance booking is highly recommended. Likewise, societies are welcome with prior arrangement.
