This tree-lined, par-72 course opened in 1976 with a design by Neville Wilson, although a partial renovation was undertaken in 1994. It is advertised as one of the most challenging in the ACT and includes a fully-licensed clubhouse with dining and function facilities. As the name implies, the course is owned by the Belconnen Magpies Australian rules football club.

Visitors are welcome at A$23 on weekdays, A$33 on weekends. Junior, senior, member, and guest-of-member rates are lower. Groups of 16 or more are also welcome with prior arrangement.
