This 18-hole course is located only about five miles from the center of Canberra, Australia's national capital city. James Herd Scott did the original design when the course opened in 1954, although the architecture firm of Cooper, Nagle & Associates redesigned several holes in 1978.

The club welcomes social golf on various days at various times; booking in advance is recommended. The 18-hole visitor rate is A$39, although guests of members, juniors, and playing at twilight receive discounts. Member of 36 other clubs around Australia have reciprocal privileges here.
