Originally, Wantina was a six-hole course that debuted in 1969. Today, this is an 18-hole course located about a 30-minute drive north of the Brisbane CBD. Wantima is the original home course of professional golfer Cameron Smith, who finished T-4 at the 2015 U.S. Open Championship.

Visitors are welcome with advance booking; the visitor walking rates are A$30 weekdays and A$32 weekends. Corporate groups are also welcome with prior arrangement.
