Golf has been played at this site since 1913, although the current course was the result of a major redesign by architect Ken McKay in 1996. This par-70 public-access course lies just outside the Sydney CBD, has large greens and rolling fairways, and was designed to accommodate golfers of all golfing abilities, from beginners to experienced single-figure markers.

The standard walking rates range from A$40 on Mondays and Tuesdays to A$63 on weekends and public holidays. Senior, concession, student, online, "back eight," and twilight rates are offered.
