This course was one of the first golf courses in southern Nevada when it opened in 1959 as Paradise Valley CC. Over the years, it has had a number of owners (including Howard Hughes) and several different names. Back in the early 1970s, the course hosted the PGA Tour's Sahara Invitational.
Since 1994 it has been known as Wildhorse GC and is owned and operated by the City of Henderson. In 2004, architects Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt completely redesigned this layout, which now features several lakes.
Non-resident rates are $87 weekdays and $100 weekends, although twilight rates are available. Residents of the City of Henderson and of Clark County receive special discounts, all listed on their web site.
