Lake Panorama National Golf Course is now host of the Brokers International Ltd. Iowa Open Championship. The championship will be held at the golf course from 2010 to 2014 in August. The Iowa Open is the premier professional and amateur tournament in Iowa and the staff at Lake Panorama is looking forward to hosting this tournament. The Iowa Open is put on by the Iowa Section PGA.

The contour of the course is flat on the front side and rolling on the backside. The front 9 has grown trees that line the fairways, the back 9 has large old trees scattered throughout the valleys. The greens on the front side are medium in size and gently rolling, coming back in the greens are large, tiered, and rolling. There are 29 bunkers on the course, many being large and guarding fronts of greens. Five ponds come into play on seven holes.
