Serpentine & Districts Golf Club is a semi-private club; the public is welcome when no competitions are being played. Please check the times for public access in the visitors section of the web site. The course is closed to the public when the club is hosting major events; a sign at the car park entrance indicates when the course is closed.

The course is set in the foothills of the Darling Ranges, Serpentine Golf Club is 18 holes with all fairways now reticulated year-round, providing nice fairways. While the greens are sand, tee boxes are grassed, while water is in play only during the winter and early spring.
