ENGLISH:
This was Israel's first-ever golf course when it opened in 1961. But after more than forty years, the condition of the course was such that the owners decided it needed to be completely rebuilt, with a design by a noteworthy architect. American architect Pete Dye was chosen to design a completely different 18-hole course, which opened in December of 2008. Besides being located close to the beach, the course runs through ancient Roman Byzantine ruins.
