The Jemsek-Hinckley family have owned and operated this course since 1926; the family also owns and operates Cog Hill G&CC, site of the PGA Tour's annual BMW Championship (f.k.a. Western Open).
St. Andrews offers two public-access parkland-style courses running over 300 acres of rolling, forested terrain west of Chicago. The layouts are designed to challenge the better player while still accommodating the beginning player.
The peak walking rates are $40 weekdays and $48 weekends, although a variety of early-bird, twilight, family, junior, and shoulder-season discounts are available.

The course is fairly narrow with large rolling greens. There's a few that make it feel like you're playing mini golf. Expect multiple 3 putts unless you're putting like Brandt "Sneedeker" - lol. It's a little pricey compared to other courses in the area that are just as nice.

Nice clubhouse and good practice facility. Well run operation. The course is nice for it's era. It lacks some of the challenges by todays standards and some of the other nearby courses. A good value and worth playing.
