This course opened in 1910 as the original location of Danville Country Club. But in 1929, Mr. and Mrs. John Higgins Harrison, part-owners of the Danville Commercial News, bought the course and sold it to the City of Danville for just $1. The North Fork of the Vermilion River winds through the course and the various hills provide a scenic backdrop.
The standard walking rates are $16 on weekdays, $21 on weekends (carts are $15/person). Frequent-player and 9-hole rates are available, as are various online specials and season passes.
