Annbriar Golf Course
1524 Birdie Ln
Waterloo, IL 62298-5225, United States
Waterloo, IL 62298-5225, United States

This Michael Hurdzan design opened in 1993 and is rather highly regarded by various publications; Golf Digest's "Places to Play" rated Annbriar 4.5 stars and ranked it 7th-best in the state of Illinois. Meanwhile, the St. Louis Riverfront Times annually regularly votes ranks it one of the best courses in the greater Saint Louis area.
The course is named after the late Ann Nobbe, a member of the family that owns the course; she envisioned their family farm turning into a golf course. The course gained some notoriety on March 8, 2013 when an 18-foot-deep sinkhole unexpectedly developed on the 14th fairway, swallowing a golfer and causing him a dislocated shoulder.
The standard rates (with cart) are $43 on Mondays, $53 on Tuesdays through Fridays, then $73 on weekends and holidays.

first time playing here, didn't shoot too well but really enjoyed the course. Some of the best fairways I have played on. Front nine is wide open while the back nine has lots of trees. Would definitely play here again.

Feel like for the area prices should be good. However this was my first time playing this course and it was the best in st. louis this year. Quality from T to Green. Other courses come close in quality (Stonewolf) but Annbriars greens are in better shape. Will play again.
