Oak Ford Golf Club opened in 1989 with a design by architect Ron Garl and is now a 27-hole facility. Between June and December of 2012, the course was closed for rebuilding of greens and a few other renovations. The course is part of an 850-acre nature preserve, so water is in play on 16 of the 27 holes, although control is the main challenge, rather than raw power.
Visitors are welcome at $35 (with half-cart).
