This semi-private, member-owned club is located in the Gulf Harbour development of Whangaparaoa, outside Auckland. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. and is generally ranked among the best in New Zealand. In fact, the New Zealand Open has been held here on two occasions. Most people familiar with the course agree that #16 is the signature hole, a long par-4 with water and craggy cliffs all along the right side.

NZ-affiliated golfers are welcome at NZ$90, while international guests pay NZ$180. The club also hosts banquets, events, weddings, and similar functions.
