What is now known as "Alec's Nine" was the first course at this resort and dates to 1921.
The Lakes course was designed by Gerald Pirkl and Donald Brauer and underwent a redesign by Minnesota-based architect Joel Goldstrand. The course runs through a forest of Norway pine, oaks, birch, and maple trees, while Bass Lake and Goose Lake are in-play on ten holes.
The peak-season rates of $59 weekdays and $75 weekends run from late-May to mid-September. Junior and senior discounts are available, while three sets of shoulder-season rates are lower.
