This Donald Ross-designed course was originally owned by the City of Lake Wales, but it was sold to stock-holding country club members during World War II. It has remained a private club ever since. Between May and December of 2014, the club reseeded the greens, changing from Bermuda to T1 Bent.
While the club is not open to the public, they do occasionally host outside corporate and charity golf events.
