La Tourette is a public course that hosts the annual New York City Amateur Championship each May and the March of Dimes Celebrity Charity Event each June. This 6,700-yard course is located in Richmond Town on New York's Staten Island and includes a full-sized practice range.

Course was in good shape, though I'm not sure how/why they send a group of 5 out. American Golf at it's best.

The clubhouse is a nice historic building. the pro shop is small, but it has what you might NEED in a pinch. the few coming in on the last 2 holes is very cool. you can see the clubhouse.
The first 3 holes are slow, but then the pace picks up nicely. it's not as crowded as some of the other NYC courses.
