Ironhorse Country Club is an Arthur Hills design built inside a very private country club community in West Palm Beach.
Interestingly, it was the subject of a book called "Driving the Green" by John Strawn, who takes the reader inside the long and complicated process of building a golf course in Florida, with various financial, logistical, design, and environmental obstacles.

Course played hard and fast. Some issues on a few greens that were under repair, aerated and sanded. But, overall condition was very good. Enjoyable, challenging track, great hospitality, and free range balls. Very nice day on this semi-private course through GolfNow. Will be back soon.

First time I played this course and I put this one at the top of my list. Excellent condition and friendly staff. Lots of scenic holes with plenty of wildlife. I played horribly but cannot wait to return and try again!
