Woodthorpe Hall Golf Club opened in March of 1986 as a 9-hole semi-private course; it is now an 18-hole layout playing to over 5,000 yards from the white tees. A covered, 25-bay practice range opened in April of 2011.

Visitors over the age of 10 can enjoy the course by paying green fees on a daily basis; memberships are also available. Walking rates are £13 weekdays and £16 weekends, while the rates with a cart/buggy are double.
