Architect Tony Cashmore designed this course, which plays through a very thick forest with rolling terrain, hence the name. The course was built suing native and drought-resistant natural grasses, while preserving many of the natural ridges, swales, and trees. An Indigenous Land Use Agreement between the resort and the Dja Dja Wurrung People has been in-place since 2006. In fact, many of the holes have names of indigenous origin.
The standard walking rates are A$49 on weekdays, A$59 on weekends and public holidays (carts are also A$49). Memberships are also available.
