The Monnow Course is hilly and hard going GET A BUGGY. The course was well maintained and in very good condition. Greens very slow but true. Clubhouse and food first class well worth the visit if you are in the area 20mins from Celtic Manor.

The Usk Course was moderately hilly but buggies were available if needed. The course was well maintained and in very good condition (20/05/11). The greens were a little slow but true. There is a single clubhouse for both courses, it's clean, pleasant and visitors are well received. Bar snacks and meals are available and our food was excellent. A very friendly club and well worth a visit either when in the district or for a society away-day. MG. 21/05/11
