Malden Golf Club is located less than 10 miles southwest of central heart of London, within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. The course debuted in 1926 and was designed with the help of a noted professional of the era, Alex Herd.

While advertised as a private members' club, visitors and societies are welcome on weekdays, with prior arrangement. The standard visitor walking rate is £25. On weekends, visitors must be invited guests of a member.
