Brewster's Kananaskis Ranch Golf Course
Ranch Rd
Exshaw, AB T0L 2C0, Canada
Exshaw, AB T0L 2C0, Canada
403.673.2700
This 18-hole course is located along the Bow River Reservoir at the foot of the Canadian Rockies and was developed by landowner Bud Brewster. The first nine holes opened in July of 2001, while the second nine came along in 2008. Architect Red Down then oversaw the rebuilding of all greens thereafter. Although the course plays from 5,245 to 5,716 yards, the fairways play rather tight.
The standard walking rates are C$52 on Mondays through Thursdays, then C$59 on Fridays, weekends, and holidays (carts are C$33). Junior, senior, twilight, local resident, and kids' rates are available, as are season passes.
Since Kananaskis Ranch is not a member of Alberta Golf, no valid slope-and-ratings exist for the course.

One of the weirdest courses ive ever played. Its a par 67 with 2 par 3's over 250 yards. Ok course, but without being in the mountains would be only average at best. Oh and single worst hotdog ive ever had the displeasure of trying to consume.

This course has some seriously long par 3 holes. Good views, nice people and for a reasonable price.
