The notable architect Willie Park, Jr. designed the first 18 holes (now South and West) here in 1920; the North nine debuted in 1959 with a design by Thomas McBroom. However, architect Dr. Michael Hurdzan has begun a major redesign and renovation project here; the West 9 is scheduled to re-open in the summer of 2014, with work following on the South and North nines to be completed in the summer of 2015.
