Located 8 miles west of Swansea in the Gower Peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty.
Golf has been played there since 1896, although the course owes most of its appeal today first to James Braid and then to C.K. Cotton.
The holes are routed over classically undulating and tumbling linksland, full of hummocks, hillocks and hollows and pocked with dunes large and small; in sum, exactly what we might hope to find beside the shore.
Yet this exceptional terrain is not beside the shore - It is two hundred feet above it.

A testing but enjoyable course, some fairways with GUR the only downside

A great course which is very tough. This is true links golf with undulating fairways which sometimes sees good shots punished and bad ones saved, the true joy of links.
The views are amazing and have to be seen to be believed. The greens could be in better condition but if you are near the area this is a must play course.

Had the pleasure last week - 29/06/2010.
A very demanding walk with tremendous views of the coastlie and estuary. Course in great condition considering the lack of rain. Very hospitable staff and well worth a visit
