This hybrid prairie/parkland-style course opened as "Moose Jaw Golf Club" in 1913 with nine holes, and then expanded to eighteen holes just six years later. Over the decades, Hillcrest has hosted several provincial and national amateur championships. The club is located on the east side of North Main Street, just south of Thatcher Drive, on the north side of Moose Jaw.

The standard adult walking rates here are C$40 weekdays, C$47 weekends and holidays (carts are C$39). Junior and twilight rates are available, as are memberships.
