Designed by James A. Steer and opened in 1932, Fleetwood is advertised as the only true links course on the Fylde coast. Steer routed the second nine inside the first nine on a site next to the sea. Good, typical (flat) links course with true fairways' and decent par five's and three's. The rough around, or just off, the fairways' is quite forgiving and overall fair. Fair test of Golf at par/sss 72....! The Pro (Ian) is specifically a good Pro!!
