Greg Norman's design at Stone Canyon includes closely-mown green areas, interesting bunkering, rock outcroppings, rolling terrain, and long views of Kansas City to the west. The course is also environmentally noteworthy since it was built over a reclaimed landfill. The nines were reversed prior to the start of the 2012 golf season.

This is a tough course. Lots of "no mow" areas. We were trying to play the black tees at 6600 but every tee was set to the tips. Some great holes and well maintained but maybe too difficult to return. It was difficult to maintain pace on this course & we are a fast group.

Beautiful course ... very challenging. No clubhouse yet. Great value. Only real negative was it took 6 hrs to play! Staff thought we were lucky to get in by then.
