Visitors and non-members are welcome at this course, which is located in the Gateacre district of Liverpool. Lee Park GC was the first golf course in Great Britain to be built following WWII when it opened with six holes in 1954.
The club also claims a bit of musical history; in July 1957, John Lennon and his group, The Quarry Men, made their first paid appearance in the Lee Park clubhouse.
