Founded in 1906 as a 9-hole course, Cowglen expanded to 18 holes in 1923 with a design by James Braid, the five-time Open champion. Located on Barrhead Road between Pollokshaws Toll and Pollok Shopping Centre, the clubhouse offers bar and catering facilities that include views over the Clyde Valley and the Campsie Hills.
Visitors and societies are welcome, but advance booking is recommended. The visitor walking rates on weekdays are £40/round or £50/day, while single rounds on weekends are £50.
