This 18-hole course (a.k.a. Purdis Heath) was designed by James Braid and opened in 1928. The few significant changes to the original layout include landscaping on #4 and opening up water at the par-3 15th during the 1980s. Automatic irrigation was added in 1998.
MAIN COURSE RATES:
Weekdays: £50/round, £70/day, £35 after 3:30 p.m.
Weekends: £55/round, £75/day, £40 after 3:30 p.m.
A golf handicap certificate is required to play the main course.
The nine-hole course rates are £12/day weekdays, £15/day weekends. No golf handicap certificate is required on the nine-hole course.
