Hollystown opened in 1992 with 18 holes (the Red and Yellow nines) designed by the late Irish architect Eddie Hackett; the course underwent a major renovation in 2005 that includes a third (Blue) nine designed by course superintendent Joe Bedford. This 27-hole course is located on The Oaks (Na Daracha), just north of the R121.

The standard walking rates for 18 holes are €20 weekdays and €28 on weekends and bank holidays (carts are €20).
