Carrickfergus stands on the shoreline of Belfast Lough with great views across to County Down. The course is a parkland-style layout that opened in 1926, although local golf architect David Jones has redesigned several holes, including USGA-spec greens.

Visitors and societies are welcome; visitor walking rates are £19 weekdays and £25 weekends.
