Situated between the Hume Highway and the Georges River in Sydney’s west, the Liverpool Golf Club has an interesting and challenging course which is well timbered, with water coming into play on 13 holes and over 65 strategically placed bunkers to test the golfer’s skill.
A par 72, rated at 73, the 6332 metre layout can be shortened by well placed tee shots, but with an amateur record of only 68 (67 for the professionals) and having hosted the 1987 Australian PGA Championship, the 1994 NSW Amateur Championship and the 1987 and 1988 Jack Newton aged Championships, golfers will realise that it is not a course to be trifled with.
