In 1989, 79 year old Elijah Jones had a vision: To build a golf course that would challenge the best of golfers yet still be playable by beginners.

At 82 years of age, his vision became a reality on a beautiful 274 acre parcel of land at the foothills of the majestic Laurentians. No dynamite was used because the course follows the natural layout of the land, providing dramatic elevation changes and picturesque vistas as its wide fairways wind through over 6700 yards of mature forests. The Heritage golf course has been named one of the 9 most beautiful courses in the entire Ottawa region.
