As with neighboring Phuket CC, Red Mountain was built over a former in mine. Architect Jon Morrow wound the course around and through thick stands of trees, some attractive water hazards, and genuinely picturesque elevation changes.
Red Mountain is co-owned with the nearby Loch Palm Course. The standard visitor rate is ฿5,700.

This was a truly spectacular golf course. It was very challenging but fair. The greens were lightning fast. My score reflected this, but I still had a great time. This is well worth the money. I've never seen an elevation drop like 17...amazing.

A fantastic course in a stunning setting. Greens are fast and challenging and the 17th signature hole is fab.

There are very few courses in the world that can match Red Mountain as a golfing experience.
There are some truly spectacular holes to play during the round and provided the weather isn't too hot (or humid) it's a brilliant (if challenging) experience.
The greens were like marble when we played, but in great condition otherwise. Compared to the courses where I regularly play (Dubai), it felt like playing golf in the middle of a jungle.
Excellent fun. Take notice of what your caddies will tell you, 9 times out of 10, they're bang on the money.
