The Golf Club of Bucyrus (formerly River Oaks Golf Course) is an 18-hole course located about 90 miles south of Toledo. The first nine opened in 1925, then in 1992 architect Barry T. Serafin blended nine new holes to form a full eighteen. (The original nine holes are now at #1, 7 through 12, and 17.
The course is notable as the site of the annual Bucyrus Golf Ball Drop, an annual fundraiser for the boys' and girls' golf teams at Bucyrus High School.
