The Woolston manor course was designed using the natural features of the land, in particular the river Roding which meanders throughout the course, which was a co-design between architect David Williams and English golfer Neil Coles MBE. Woolston Manor opened in 1994 and has hosted a variety of amateur and regional professional tournaments. Of note here are the freshwater fish that are visible in the water on the sixth hole.

The standard visitor walking rates are £25 on weekdays, £30 on weekends and holidays. Twilight rates are also offered.
