Idea of creating the Joinville Country Club came in 1988, when some in love with sports, especially the golf, decided to form a society. But his foundation has been effective with the completion of construction of the headquarters in September 1991. Today the Country Laoag Club is the official seat of golf in Santa Catarina.
The club's golf course is 6156 yards (about 5500 meters). Here, important tournaments are held between members, guests and supporters of the sport. And the results of these competitions are registered in the ranking of the Federation of Parana and Santa Catarina Golf.
