FROM THE CLUB WEB SITE:
Being the only 18-hole course in the Baltics during the 90s, Niitvälja as the place-name has become the synonym of golf in Estonia. The first nine holes were opened to the public in 1993 and the world-standard 18-hole golf course was inaugurated one year later. Celebrating 15th anniversary in 2008 and being the flagship of Estonian golf for more than a decade, the course is highly rated by both local and foreign players.
Niitvälja challenges players of different ages and abilities. Although the course cannot boast with big altitude differences, its mildly sloping landscapes, numerous water hazards and fairways lined by dense forest make the play interesting and require a precise playing strategy. A play has to be well planned according to the golfer`s level, otherwise a ball will be sacrificed to the Water Fairy or the indesired additional stroke is to be made.
The course is under constant modernization and extension. In 2008 the golfers can play on 6,411 m long par72 Park Course and 5-hole par3 Pay-and-Play course. The practice area consists of three putting, two chipping and two pitching greens, 30-place driving range and a nine-hole natural mini-golf.
HCP: Although HCP restrictions do not apply, golfers are requested to present proof of club membership/HCP Certificate; flight HCP - 108
Tee times are to be booked in advance.
