This private course was designed by Press Maxwell and opened in 1962 about 25 miles west of downtown Denver, in the foothills. The elevation here is 7,665 feet (2,336 meters) above sea level.
Over the years, the club has hosted many USGA and AJGA amateur events, as well as the Colorado Open from 1964 to 1991.
Golf privileges are available only as a guest of a member. However, a number of charity events are played here throughout the season, so it is possible to play the course under those circumstances.
