Good challenging layout - trees are the main hazard, supplemented by water on several holes and strong bunkering. Terrain is quite flat, so the course is easy to walk. Greens fees are higher than comparable courses in the area, but Silver Lakes still gets a lot of play. Conditions are good in 2016 - would be better if patrons would attend to their divots.
