The original nine holes here were designed by James Gilmore Harrison in 1946; Carl Rasnic designed the second nine that opened in 1961. Beginning in 1999, architect Ron Forse oversaw several major renovations to the course, including the rebuilding of all greens to the USGA's tri-layer specs and seeded with A4 Bent. Meanwhile, the fairways were seeded with Vamont Bermuda.
