Palo Duro Creek Golf Club is located about ten miles south of Amarillo. It opened as "Hunsley Hills Country Club" in 1959 with nine holes, while the second nine came along a few years later. The course was renamed after the creek that flows comes into play on 14 of the 18 holes.
