Los Lagos Golf Club is fast becoming the shining star of the golfing community in the Rio Grande Valley. The City of Edinburg commissioned the well respected architectural firm of von Hagge, Smelek & Baril to design the best golf facility in the valley. The results are a spectacular combination of links-style mounding, sand and 11-acres of glistening lakes.
This course opened in late 2000 and is a prime example for future golf development in the valley and all of south Texas.

Great course although I could do without all the mounds. Very fast greens. Lot of grass on fairways although cut very short so ball runs well. Many sand bunkers but well maintained. Lot of water although easy to get around. I will play this course as often as possible.
