Despite its length (under 6000 yards), some good challenges exist on this course; it is a comfortable place to work on mid- to short-irons with full shots. The first nine opened in 1938 with a design by local citizens who built the course. The second nine opened in 1972.
Standard rates are $18.50 weekdays and $22.50 weekends, while the 9-hole and twilight rate is $14.50. A frequent-player discount card is also available.

Love this course, but it is easy overall. Not very long but very well maintained for a city course that costs less than $40.

Nice course, although it is short. Provides a different sort of challenge.

Great course for beginners. Wide open fairways and non challenging greens. Some over water approaches test beginner skills, but not challenging for experienced players, even from the back tees.

Muni course that was not in the best shape. Fairways were in bad shape in a lot of places. Greens were in ok shape. Very open course so you can spray the ball.
