Although the club dates to 1904, this course dates to 1962 and an Ellis Maples design. A major renovation of the course between 1999 and 2001 included rebuilt bunkers and rebuilt greens with TifEagle Bermuda grass. The course has hosted the South Carolina State Amateur championship in 2004 and 2010.
