One notable feature of this private club is the elevator that takes golfers from the 17th green to the 18th tee. The course itself dates to the club's move to the Fox Chapel area around 1915. Alexander Findlay did the original 18-hole design, but the club's web site points out that a long line of architects have done revisions to the course, including A.W. Tillinghast, Willie Park Jr., the partnership of Emil Loeffler and John McGlynn, William Irvin, Robert Trent Jones, Arthur Hills, Craig Schreiner, and most recently, Tripp Davis.
The club is located in the Pittsburgh suburb of Blawnox.
